Course "Peasantry, household production and the advance of capitalism in the"

As part of the training activities of the Central Extension and Activities in the Environment (University of the Republic) and Cycle Thinking, technical Campon part of the day: 7, 8 and 9 December 2010, in the course: "Peasants, household production and advancement of capitalism in the countryside." The activity took place in the main hall of the local PIT-CNT (central Uruguayan Association).

The course was given by Eng. Horacio Martins de Carvalho, advisor Peasant Movements in Latin America with extensive field experience in the social movement in Brazil, especially the Landless Movement.

The program touched topics such as historical talk on the concept of peasantry Advancement of Capitalism in the field and methods of work in rural communities and household production.

The course allowed the theoretical approach to a process of building a social and political alternative to the expansion of capitalist social relations (globalization) from the peasantry as a conceptual synthesis of the rural family farmer.
